MLK Weekend Kick-Off: Social Action Shabbat
Friday, January 12, 2018
The entire congregation is invited to "Rise Against Hunger." Together we will pack 5,000 meals that will be sent to American disaster areas and International schools who feed the world’s most impoverished children.  Come for the Mitzvah Project and stay for dinner and Shabbat services, or just for the Mitzvah Project! This project is open to the whole MLRT community. The more hands we have, the more meals we’ll pack.  Each meal costs $0.29.  We will be collecting donations and sponsorship to raise the $1,500.00 needed to complete our goal!

5:30 pm: Shabbat Dinner - RSVP Required*
6:30 pm: Rise Against Hunger Mitzvah Project
7:30 pm: MLK Interfaith Shabbat Service
RSVP to Beth in the Main Office by January 5, 2018

* Space is limited.
